Carla Thelen Hanson, Vocal Director

Soprano Carla Thelen Hanson has garnered attention for exciting and vocally thrilling performances of opera's leading heroines for the last 25 years at some of the country's leading opera houses. Equally at home as director and conductor, she has served as musical/vocal director for many Rochester Community Theatre musicals as well as stage directing operas and opera scenes at Luther College where she  has been an Instructor of Voice and Opera for the last 7 years.

Ben Hain, Light Designer

Ben has been doing lighting and theater for nearly 40 years. He worked as a production electrician for Theater de la Juene Lune and at Childrens Theater Company in Minneapolis. Locally, he has lit shows for Rochester Civic Theater, The Rep, Byron Middle School, The Jon Hassler Theater, Mayo Clinic, The Rochester School District, and various dance shows. He has worked as a stagehand at the Civic Center running spotlight from rodeos to rock concerts. Attending rock shows like Queen (with Freddie Mercury), The Who, and Genesis are major reasons he is a lighting designer today. Ben became Technical Director at the Jon Hassler Theater in 2003 and worked there until 2006. For the last 14 years,  Ben has been the technical director for Hill Theater at Rochester Community and Technical College.

Brett Conrad, Scenic Designer

Brett Conrad received his Bachelors in both Theater and Psychology from Goshen College in Goshen, IN, in 2015. He has participated in over 40 productions, with 36 of them as the lead scenic designer or master carpenter. His clientele has included Mayo Clinic, Luther College, and the Rochester Civic Theatre Company, as well as various other theaters in the southeast Minnesota region. He is proficient in both theatrical lighting and special effects, though his main focus is designing and building the set and the properties for the production.

Audrey Rinkoski, Choreographer

Audrey has 25 years of theatre experience in four states as an actress, vocal director, and choreographer, including nearly 20 local area productions at both the community and educational level since moving to Rochester in 2008. This will be Audrey's eighth production as choreographer. Other credits include Legally Blonde, Chicago, Matilda, and Rock of Ages. Audrey is an alumnus of the Drake University theatre program and currently works in education at Rochester Public Schools.

Helen Distad, Costume Designer

Helen was first taught sewing, clothing design, and construction by her mother and grandmother. She attended college with a major in art and minor in theatre for two years. After that she has been largely self taught, learning from each designer and experience, and is also part of a professional costumer's group in Minnesota. Designing and creating has been a natural fit for her, and she has focused on textiles and costuming as an art form for the past 10 plus years, working on over 50 productions in Southeast Minnesota.

Pam Allan, Stage Manager, Properties

Pam Allan is a self-motivated, organized, and efficient Stage Manager who is able to work with directors, artistic staff, actors, and crew to ensure rehearsals and performances go smoothly.  Throughout her many years of theatre starting in 1998, she has been intimately involved in many aspects of a community theatre production, including stage managing over 30 shows and managing props for a similar number. With her strong problem solving skills, integrity and professionalism, she will be key player in making any project a success.
