Calliope Theatre Membership

THEATRE IS COLLABORATION

Calliope Theatre Company is a true community theatre where area artists, performers, and patrons have the opportunity to not only be involved but also be represented and heard.  That's why we have, without hesitation, opted to be a nonprofit organization with a voting membership. ​Also, the Muse told us to. 

WHAT IS MEMBERSHIP?

Voting members are entitled to vote on a slate of nominees for the Board of Directors at every annual meeting and any special meeting that may be called requiring a member vote.  Members' rights can be found in our bylaws

 But we've taken it a step further, offering a few other perks

Yes, Perks. Imagine a Vanna White flourish here! Members receive the following extras:

  • Acknowledgement as donors in playbills

  • Discounts on ticket prices 

  • Member exclusive events, such as the Annual Meeting Dinner.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR CALLIOPE?

Our theatre company is sustained by the investments of our members. The ineffable Muse can dispense inspiration and artistic energy freely as she wills it, but we are in need of support.  It can come in a lot of ways: ​

A direct donation of $250 or more earns all the rights and perks of a sustaining  membership

We will also accept in-kind donations valued at $250 or more to earn membership, so long as it is something we need. Contact us for ideas. 

Monthly donations that have been sustained over at least a six month period earn all the perks of membership. Your monthly amount equals your discount on up to two tickets per production! For example:

  • $10/mo. = 10% off

  • $25/mo. = 25% off

  • $50/mo. = 50% off 

  • $100/mo. = 100% OFF!!
